You are more than welcome to bring your fur babies to enjoy the lake.  We do ask that you pick up after your dog, both inside and outside.  Garbage bins will be provided for your use.  Please remember to use bags before disposing of the waste.  Failure to do so will result in a loss of the security deposit.

The cottage is a smoke free home.  If you do smoke, please do so outside and dispose of your ashes and butts in an ash tray.  Any cigarette butts left littering the property will be subject to a loss of the security deposit. 

During the winter season, the access roads to the cottage are plowed for easy access to the cottage.

This lakefront cottage has three bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed.  There is additional sleeping in the living room on the sectional, which turns into a queen-size bed, as well as in the basement there is a queen-size Murphy Bed and a double sofabed.  

The cottage is situated on the banks of Dalhousie Lake.  The sandy, shallow and virtually weed free waters extend approximately 150 feet before getting deeper.  The lake offers fishing for everyone and includes at least five different species of fish. The boat launch is 2 minutes down the road for your use if you wish to bring your boat.

The water is supplied by well and includes a water softener.  The water is potable and tested regularly. 

We require a 50% deposit to reserve your week at the time of booking.  Payment in full is required no less than 14 days prior to check-in.   At the time the final payment is made, an additional $500.00 security deposit is required. The security deposit will be returned within 7 days after check-out if no damage is done during your stay.  An cleaning fee of $200.00 is also charged.

Refunds will be issued 30 days prior to check-in.  A 100% refund is provided to renters cancelling at least 30 days before check-in.  A 50% refund is provided for renters cancelling from 14-29 days before check-in.  No refunds are provided for renters cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.  

This cottage on lakefront is meant for our guests to relax and enjoy their vacation time.  We do expect our guests to be respectful and mindful of not just our property, but to our neighbours as well.  If at any time the police are called to the property for disturbing the peace, destruction of property, being ours or the neighbours, or for any other reason, guests will be required to vacate the property immediately and forfeit monies paid.

If any damage to our property exceeds the amount of the security deposit, we reserve the right to proceed with legal action to recuperate our losses.
